Create Studio Account

I can't seem to create a username. I'm using the cloud service and opened the project from my desktop. I went to save it and it's asking for a username? When I go to forgot password it says my account doesn't exist and when I try to create a free Celtx Studio account it just logs me into my cloud. Am I not allowed to save to the cloud from my desktop? That seems a little silly

Have you updated your desktop software to 2.9.6 that includes cloud support?

Log into your cloud account at celtx.com and select the Downloads tab at the top of the page.

I am having the same problem. When I click on "Create an Account" and, after a lightening fast, very brief glimpse of a screen that SEEMS to be a space to create an account of some sort, the screen then instantly switches to another screen with tabs that say, "Resources," "Downloads," "Community." There are no fields asking me for a username, etc,. I have the latest version.

Can you outline the steps you are taking to create your account?

It sounds as if you are entering a cloud services account if you see the Resources, Downloads, and Community tabs at the top of the page.

Thanks for the reply. Ok.
1. From my Celtx page (where I'm writing my script, etc.,) I click on "Services" with the little Cloud depiction.
2. I then click on "Open from Celtx"
3. Then I click "create an account"
4. It takes me to the page I mentioned earlier...whre there is no hint of what to do to share a script, etc.

Again, it's sounds like you have successfully created an account at are auto logging in when you are going to celtx.com.

Have you tried saving your project to the cloud service?

Have you read any of the resource materials in the resources tab?

If you open a document in the cloud, you will find various options at the top. Of the document including the option to share.
