The C-Team has been scouring Project Central looking to select a winner for a seasonal Project of the Week (POW), but alas, the pickings appear to be slim. So we're putting out a call to drum up some interest for creating a holiday-themed (ie. Christmas, Hanukkah, etc.) Celtx project. Yes, yes... I know it's short notice, but we figured your enthusiastic, talented selves would be up for a fun holiday challenge during the next week.
A week?...Yep... you heard me ... Starting today - Dec.19/08, you have 1 week in which to WOW us with your creative brilliance! You can submit a project that's already in the works, or start anew, be it screenplay, animation, stageplay, or whichever media Celtx supports. T'would be nice to stick close to the POW Selection Guidelines, but given the short time frame we'll avoid playing Grinch and give you some lee-way.
While including a script with media files and resources (ie. image/video/audio files, populated forms - ie. character, a project title image, etc.) may increase your chances of a win, scripts only will also be considered. At the end of the day it's all about QUALITY.
SUBMISSION DETAILS:
Projects should be posted to Project Central no later than 12 - midnight PST, Friday Dec. 26 /08. Just be sure to tag your project with 'powholidaychallenge' (all one word) so we know your project is in the running.
Then on Dec.27/08, a winner shall be crowned and become the proud owner of 1G Celtx USB key and the coolio Celtx jacket [American Apparel, normally in black], but..... in the Holiday colour of their choice!! (Everybody go.... Ooooo-Ahhhhh).
So get out the egg nog, charge up the laptop,... and let those creative juices flooooow!
